About Me
My name is Sergii (or Serhii, using modern transliteration rules), but you can call me Serge.
I'm currently living in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, together with my wife. We moved here from Odesa, Ukraine in the peak of COVID-19 pandemic (that was quite an adventure).
I'm a software developer, mainly focused on web services throughout my career. My professional interests also include software design and architecture, databases, operating systems, JVM ecosystem, programming languages, and distributed systems.
I'm currently employed by Catawiki B.V.
When I'm not coding, you'll often find me reading, cooking, playing games (not just video games, but also board and card games), or going for a run as a casual jogger.
